This week we start to say our farewells as families head off on their summer vacations or on to their next adventures with new schools. The children have been busy helping to finalise their portfolios so that they may take home all those wonderful photos and memories of their time at Bubbles. We have had plenty of opportunity this week to spend time together playing and laughing and enjoying each others company. The next three weeks will focus on time together and the relationships the children have formed with one another before they take a respite from kindergarten over the summer break.

This week we have had lots of opportunity for time outside at the playground despite the weather. As well as plenty of self-selected free-play and explorations of music and dance. The children have been particularly excited for stop dance with drums and the xylophone as well as more time for imaginative play in the play house and mini house. An increasing interest this week has also been the construction area and doll house where the children have been seen interacting in collaborative and cohesive ways.

The children had their last MTV session this week until the new school year. They enjoyed the session thoroughly and we look forward to its return in the new school year.
