We had a lovely week this week continuing with our ‘Planets’ theme. The children had the opportunity to make a rocket and complete their mobile of the solar system. On Wednesday, we had a wonderful visit to ESO at Garching. The children enjoyed looking at the models of the planets, photos of galaxies, searching through telescopes and much more.
On our forest day, we practiced counting to 10 and collected 10 twigs and 10 stones, which we then used to make some super rockets.
The children had the opportunity to make a solar system mobile – we will continue with this activity next week.
In pre-school, the children continued making their school cones which are looking super. As well as practicing counting to 10 and learning a new song ‘Farmer Pete’ to help learn out number bonds to 10.
In Zumba, children dance to all of the songs they have learned so far!
As always, the children had lots of fun at MTV sports climbing and sliding!
