On Tuesday we had lots of fun celebrating Pancake Day. In Morning Circle we talked a little bit about the tradition of Pancake Day in the UK. At the playground we had pancake races and practiced flipping a pancake. Finally after lunch we ate pancakes with the traditional British topping of sugar and lemon and of course chocolate spread.
In Morning Circle this week, we played our dragon game, practiced our numbers to 10 (counting forwards and backwards) and learnt a new song ‘Singt ein Vogel’.
In preschool, the children learnt the letter ‘T’ and made a tree picture. We also introduced our new number for the month, number ‘7’. The children also practiced balancing and tying shoelaces.
On Friday, we learnt a new Minions Zumba dance!
