This week we had a fantastic time making the final preparations for our Easter party. The children all made animal masks choosing either a lamb, chick, bunny or frog.
In morning circle we learnt the names of some farm animals that are born in spring and sang two new songs ‘Two Little Chickens’ and ‘Stups der kleine Osterhase’. We also had a super easter egg hunt showing how well we can work as a team.
The children had the opportunity to help dye eggs using red cabbage as a natural dye. We were all very surprised to discover that the eggs turned blue!
Our Easter party was lots of fun and thoroughly exhausting! We started the day with games and Zumba. Then we decorated our easter egg candles. Then we went outside for our Easter Egg hunt. We also had chance to colour some lovely pictures.
