Newsletter 27.03.2020

I hope this newsletter finds you all in good spirits and you are finding a nice rhythm that suits you and your family.

Here is one of my favourite stories that seemed appropriate. I hope you enjoy it too! Five Minutes Peace by Jill Murphy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kg1EcW_Pf98 . Understandably, your children will want to spend a lot of time playing with you, especially if they have no siblings and are missing playing with their peers, and this can become exhausting without '5 minutes peace'. Try thinking of some activities with your child that you know they can do alone e.g. a jigsaw puzzle, build a model, colour a picture, sort colours, post cards, Hamma beads... Then write these on cards and once or twice a day (when the need arises!) ask your child to select one of the cards from the pot and enjoy five minutes peace.
