Using ideas from the children, we started a new theme ‘Bats’. In morning circle, the children shared what they already knew about bats and we started to talk about where bats live. The children also practiced counting and reading numbers to 5.
On Tuesday we visited the library and the children chose some lovely new books for kindergarten.
With the pre-school children we learnt the letter ‘H’ and found objects that start with that letter.
Forest Visit
Unfortunately, because of all the wet weather we cancelled the forest visit this week. However, we are hoping to go on Thursday 7th November. The weather will most likely be quite cold, so please send your children in appropriate clothing. Your child will also need a rucksack with water bottle and snack for breakfast. Thank you.
