This week we began to practice for our summer party. We read the story ‘Zog’ and started to learn some new songs. We also practiced counting to ten and learnt a new letter ‘Y’.
Road Safety Training
Next week the police will visit on Tuesday morning to teach the children how to cross the roads safely.
Photos
On Monday morning, weather permitting, we will go to the playground in the morning and will take photos of the children. If the weather is bad, we will try again on Thursday.
Summer Party
As mentioned last week our theme will be ‘Zog’ by Julia Donaldson. If your child already has a dragon costume or if you have any spare, please can you let the teachers know next week. We will also need a knight’s costume if anyone has one. A form will be displayed next week in the cloakroom for parents to sign up for the shared buffet. Thank you!
Healthy Eating
During the week 22nd July to 26th July, the teachers will prepare lunch everyday with the children. We will choose meal ideas with the children, talk about balanced meals as well as where the food comes from before it arrives on our plate.
