This week was a ‘wheelie’ great week! (sorry!) On Monday the children brought their scooters to kindergarten and we spent the morning scooting up and down, turning corners and weaving in and out of cones. On Thursday the children took their bikes, balance bikes or scooters to the local playground, where we had a bit more shade. We were very impressed with the children’s balance, control and coordination. Well done!
Looking forward to the summer party, the children chose ‘Zog’ by Julia Donaldson as our theme. Over the next few weeks we will practice retelling the story so that we can perform it to the parents during the summer party. Dragon costumes at the ready! If your child already has a dragon costume or if you have any spare, please can you let the teachers know next week. We will also need a knights costume if anyone has one. Thank you.

The sun has arrived! As it is sometimes very hot by the afternoon, when possible we will play outside in the mornings. Please can you put sun cream on your child in the morning before Kindergarten and bring a sun hat (sunglasses optional!). We will put more sun cream on if we go out in the afternoon too. Thank you.
