This week we started our new theme ‘Space’. We looked at some pictures of the universe and talked about galaxies and solar systems. We began to learn a new English song, ‘Space Rocket Ride’.
In morning circle, we learnt the letter ‘f’, sang our new song. The pre-school children found objects that started with the letter ‘f’.
Faschings Party
The children have decided to base our party on the characters from the story ‘Jim Knopf und Lukas der Lokomotivführer.’ There are lots of different characters in the books to choose from including: Jim Knopf, Lukas, König Alfons, Frau Waas, Herr Ärmel, Prinzessin Lisl, Frau Mahlzahn, Herr Tur-Tur and Nepomik.

We look forward to seeing the children dressed in home-made costumes for our Fasching Party.
Unfortunately the Deutsches Museum are updating their Space Exhibition and it will not reopen until 2020. We are looking into the possibility of visiting the ESO at Garching Forschungszentrum instead.
