This week our theme was, ‘The Little Red Hen’. In morning circle, we enjoyed using the animals to tell the story together. We also tried to grind some wheat to make flour; just like the Little Red Hen. We sang ‘Old MacDonald’ and were fantastic at making animal noises.
The children had the opportunity to make bread buns which we ate at snack time. In crafts, we made Little Red Hens with feathers and painted pictures of the animals from the story.
We also learnt the letter ‘P’ and found lots of things in Kindergarten that start with ‘p’.
Great news! We have a new sports time on Wednesday. Now all children can now do Sports twice a week.
