This week our theme was sharks. We were able to describe what a shark looked like and where they live. In morning circle our hungry shark ate the fish and we practiced our subtraction skills. We learned two new songs ‘Baby Shark’ and ‘Ich habe eine Maus gesehen.‘
The children had the opportunity to make some super shark masks or shark pictures practicing their cutting skills using scissors.
On Thursday we visited Zenetti Platz to celebrate the opening of the Zenetti Piazza. We all joined in some fantastic activities making a huge collage of what we would like our area to look like (now hung up in our cloakroom) and completed some sporty challenges.
Next week we will be talking about Oktoberfest and plan to visit one day.
