This week we started a new theme, ‘Bikes and Balance Bikes’. On Tuesday we took the children and their bikes to Theresienwiese. We practiced riding up and down our pretend street, in and out of cones, stopping and starting, cycling in a circle and a figure of eight. The children were fantastic! The morning was such a success we plan to repeat it. In Kindergaten some children made a little cup and ball game.
Next week we will also continue this theme, focusing on keeping safe near roads. Please bring bikes and balance bikes again on Monday, as we will do some more riding practice. The police will also be visiting us on Thursday to talk to children about crossing roads safely.
