This week we continued with our ‘Transport’ theme. In our morning circle, we shared a book about cars and found out that a long time ago people didn’t have cars! We also talked about the pictures spotting how cars have changed over the years. We used the road mat to follow directions, moving our cars along the roads to the parking places.
We started to find out about trains. We used a large cardboard box to make a train big enough for us to sit in. We also learnt a famous poem by Robert Louis Stevenson called From A Railway Carriage.
We are learning a new song in German, Die Affen rasen durch den Wald.
Next week we will visit the Verkehrs museum. We are really looking forward to seeing lots of different vehicles and finding out all about them.
